Under the leadership of Pastor Michael German, Holy Temple Ministries seeks to better its community through the power of faith and love. We have sought to create a welcoming environment paired with a loving outreach ministry. By creating many programs for people of all ages, we help our members come together in faith and in everyday life.

HTM's mission is to spread God's love within the immediate community. With a message of repentance and relationship we seek to bring the community together under a common understanding of the love of God and the importance of a relationship with him. We seek to enact community outreach programs demonstrating the love of our Lord and savior. By doing this, we effectively aid our members and community just as we are taught to do in the scriptures.

By standing squarely within the intersection of faith and life, HTM is able to provide its members a fun and exciting experience. We seek to provide a sanctuary for growth so that members gain a deeper intimacy with God and a stronger relationship with each other. HTM's members and staff are here for you in times of joy and times of sorrow.

Come and experience God's love with us and allow HTM to usher you into our loving community.

Our Pastor
Michael German
Pastor Michael German, Sr., a native Memphian has the passion for teaching and preaching the word of God. Being raised in a God-fearing, bible believing home, gave him a greater appreciation for the ministry. He followed his father in the ministry, Pastor Willie German, Jr. and his mother Sister Bobbie German throughout his life.
In 1993 Pastor Michael German was called to the ministry. He recieved his Certificate of Liscense to "The Gospel Ministry" by his pastor and father, Pastor Willie German, Jr. on February 20, 1994. Pastor German labored as an Associate Minister at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland under the Leadership of Pastor Clifford Johnson. During this time, Pastor German attended Washington Bible College. Since his ministry, he has accepted numerous if speaking engagements in the local Baltimore churches and around the country. In particular, he served as a Spiritual Advisor to the North Carolina Panthers, National Football League (NFL), in Washington DC, December 1995. He also was the featured speaker aat the Christian Family Center's Youth Crusade in Peoria, Illinois in August 1995. In January 1999, Pastor German was ordained as a minister. After his ordination, God led Pastor German to begin The Holy Temple Urban Connectional Church. This led to the beginning of a journey in ministry which well prepared him for the victories as well as many obstacles that come when leading a congregation of people.
At the unexpected death of his father Reverend Willie German, Jr. in July 2005, Pastor German was now faced with unfinished business that was present at Holy Temple MBC. This period was one of the most difficult periods of his life. However, this experience deepened his relationship with God knowing that only a true call on his life could cause him to leave an established church and literally start over with a handful of people. Trusting God knew what was best, Pastor German surrendered his will to God's will. Several months after his father's death, Pastor German was officially appointed the pastor of Holy Temple MBC now affectionately known as Holy Temple Ministries.
Pastor Michael Germans love for the word of God and the Ministry is drawing many to the church. His intense studies and communion with God is evident in his messages on Sunday Mornings and his Conversational Bible Studies on Wednesday nights. The attention of the congregation is held leaving you wanting more of the message from God. His desire is to have the word of God impact the family, community, city, state, country, and even the world.
